The activity carried out by Cledan Srl consists in the design, construction and installation of special

programming, robotized interpresses, lighting and FM sockets, assembly of measuring instruments,
pneumatic systems, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on machinery and industrial plants.
To complete this production offer, obviously, the supply of software for industrial automation is added.
The adoption of a Quality Management System certified according to the requirements of the UNI EN
ISO 9001 was motivated by a desire for continuous growth, accompanied by an organizational
soundness, both as administration and production, such as to allow the activities exercised fully meet
all the expectations of its customers.
The achievement of customer satisfaction and therefore of his trust will make it possible to obtain new
orders.
In addition to the main purpose of satisfying customers, through the Quality Management System
CLEDAN aims to:

a) raising the culture of quality in the people who work in the organization, involving them in the
knowledge of the importance of their activity;
b) to prevent, reduce and / or eliminate non-conformities, because it causes waste and defects
that produce additional costs and possible damage to its customers;
c) satisfy the client’s requests;
d) satisfy the other parties involved in the life of the Company: personnel, suppliers, members, the
environment, etc .;
e) to spread a “Risk based thinking” mentality that allows to evaluate the risks that could render
the company processes ineffective by defining the appropriate improvement actions, aimed at
eliminating or containing them;
f) continually improving the product / service supplied in line with the needs of the market,
through marketing surveys and meetings with customers;
g) continuously adjusting company production capacity and flexibility, in order to maintain a high
level of competitiveness of its products and an optimal quality / price ratio;
h) comply with the mandatory regulations and applicable laws;
i) to involve and transmit the Quality Policy through personnel at all levels through regular
meetings;

j) fix, monitor and achieve measurable objectives to evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality
Management System.

The Quality Policy implemented by CLEDAN SRL is focused on the specific needs of each of its
customers, therefore during the acquisition of new orders, the first important step is to better
understand its requests in order to direct production towards products that largely satisfy the
demands and expectations of their clients. In this phase, a thorough study of the project is
necessary, in synergy with the designer and the client and with the preparation of appropriate
questions to verify the exact understanding of the products that will be produced.
Moreover, during the process it is important to verify any discrepancies between the customer’s
expectations and the realization of the product in such a way, where it is possible, to modify the
production according to customer requests reserving in case of changes to the initial project, the
right to re-determine the price and delivery times. In this way it will be possible with reasonable
certainty, to ensure that the order is exactly the same as the one imagined and desired by the
customer. From this it emerges that the company will have to give the maximum availability to all
the requests expressed by its customers.

The implementation of the quality system should not be perceived and followed by the entire staff
of CLEDAN SRL in a “passive” way, ie understood as a mere execution of well-defined procedures,
but in such a way that the optimization of the system derives, above all , from suggestions that
come from all employees.
In this context, it will be the task of the Management and of the Quality Management System
Manager to make the system perceive in an absolutely positive way, involving all the company
functions and trying to make all the staff responsible for this.

In the implementation of the quality system the management of non-conformities has an aspect of
fundamental importance as it is above all thanks to them that it is possible to achieve high levels of
quality. CLEDAN’s quality policy attaches great importance to the immediate determination of non-
conformities, analysing in depth the causes that generated them and modifying the system in such
a way that they no longer occur in the future. Furthermore, the immediate identification of the non-
conformities and without doubt the solution of the same, allows us to decrease any multiplication
of problems, where non-compliances are not resolved promptly. Another important aspect, key
element in the management of the quality system in CLEDAN, is the prevention of non-compliance.
The possibility of preventing a possible problem, means having time to intervene and correct any
bottlenecks that immediately lead to a financially quantifiable damage to the company.
